Holiday Hours

Update: For New Year's we will be closed Thursday and Friday as well. We couldn't cut grass anyway it's been so wet!! We had a little sun yesterday but not a lot and not much at all today so things just aren't drying up. But it's a good time to spend time with families and we hope you can do that as well. Happy New Year everyone and we'll see you in 2015!   We hope you have a Merry Christmas and get to spend some time with your family. We will be closed Wednesday through Sunday for Christmas and then will be back at it on Monday the 29th. Thank you and Happy Holidays! We'll leave you with a beautiful sunrise over the farm last week. ...

Color Check

Color Check

Just an update on the color of the grass.  It's improving but still not where we would like it to be.  Monday night the temp was 46º and last night it was 51º which is not conducive to greening up.  The grass really needs temperatures consistently above 60º at night to continue to gain color and sustain growth.  But we're getting there. Our fields take a little longer to green up than most peoples yards because our fields have no protection from the frosts we've had and the cold nights.  But we're getting there so just be patient with us please!  ...
