  • Cobalt™ Hybrid St. Augustine

    Cobalt™ Hybrid St. Augustine features excellent drought tolerance, disease tolerance, winter hardiness and has a good establishment rate. This variety exhibits exceptional visual appeal with its dark green genetic color and wide leaf blades and stolons.

  • Celebration® Bermudagrass

    Celebration® Bermuda grass is a deep blue-green turf grass that has finished best in numerous university research studies for wear tolerance and recovery, drought resistance and tolerance, and bermudagrass shade tolerance.

Murff Turf Farm began in 1969 by Bill Murff. Bill was a high school Agriculture teacher looking for a way to supplement his teaching salary. Starting with 15 acres, Bill began to produce Floratam. Over 51 years later, Murff Turf Farm produces over 2,000 acres of turf for sale in and around the Houston, TX area, with many varieties to offer its customers. The primary varieties produced are St. Augustine grass and Bermudagrass.  Whether your needs are on the wholesale side or if you are a homeowner and would like to buy fresh sod directly from the field we will be happy to serve you.

We are located in Crosby, TX, about 25 miles East of Houston, TX, and we offer delivery services in to Houston and the surrounding areas within about a 100 mile radius of Houston.
